i think a chat board would be a great idea i wasnt sure where to post when i first found the site, also a new members/hello type thread would be nice so everyone can say hello and mention their interests so we can get to know each other.

I am brand-new and interested in exchanging info on knitting and on the Kate Jacobs books. But I can NOT understand why the General board under "Comfort Food" is entirely drug ads! Anyone know?
I got interested in knitting again after reading the books and have introduced one of my daughters-in-law and one of my granddaughters in knitting over Christmas. We are excited to be a three-generation "team" of knitters!
